In the further weeks we continued to use 40 degree washes and again the same issues were happening. He told us to try a 40 degree wash and left. It appears the engineer did not want to assist us.
My partners parents have exactly the same washing machine and usen 30 degree wash and do not have the same problems.
I then questioned why Zanussi have this setting available if it doesn’t work….(he said it’s a marketing technique). The engineer said it was insufficient as will not dissolve tablet. The setting we use is a 30 minute wash at 30 degrees. He was there barely any time and he stated that the reason the tablets are not dissolving is because we are using a 30 degree wash. Once we got an engineer appointment they were very rude. Therefore we were unable to wash our clothes.

We both work full time and no night or weekend appointment were available. We tried to call and engineer and the wait times were really lengthy and they do not do convenient times. This in total had ruined £300 worth of our clothes. We have also tried many different makes of products such as Fairy and Aldi and Percil. We have attempted to use powder, capsules and tablets and each time these do not dissolve and are sticking to the clothes. Since then the washing machine has not been dissolving any cleaning products we use. It was working ok for the first couple of months.

I have had 10 appointments made but only 4 of which a service engineer has made it to my door. This Tuesday it will be 9 weeks since I reported my faulty AEG washing machine.
